The historic town of Franklin, Tenn., just south of Nashville, will soon be home to its first Maui Wowi Hawaiian, a coffee and fruit smoothie shop, owned by local franchisee Eric Rilko and his wife, Holley.
As Maui Wowi franchisees, the Rilkos began their business with the mobile model to build awareness while they searched for the perfect location for a brick-and-mortar store, according to a company press release.
"We are very excited about opening our first store in Franklin. The area is growing exponentially," said Eric. "We want Maui Wowi to become a gathering place for the community and a daily pit stop for morning and afternoon commuters."
The company specializes in a line of fresh brewed Hawaiian coffees, hand-crafted espresso drinks, and made-to-order fresh fruit smoothies. The Franklin location will be the second to open in the Nashville area; the first opened last summer in Mt. Juliet, Tenn.
The new store is located in the new Berry Farms development at 4024 Hughes Crossing, Building-B in Franklin, Tenn.
