Manhattan Bagel spices up lunch menu with chipotle

Manhattan Bagel is now offering two new chipotle lunch dishes at all locations until July 1, 2010.

"Our two new chipotle lunch items fit in perfectly with our goal to be at the leading edge of what casual bakery customers want," said James O'Reilly, chief concept officer of Einstein Noah Restaurant Group Inc., franchisor of Manhattan Bagel. "Chipotle is a key ingredient that brings a relatively mild but earthy spiciness to our two new lunch items."

The lunch items are a turkey chipotle wrap featuring turkey, Southwest corn & black bean salsa, chipotle dressing, jalapeÃ±o salsa cream cheese, cheddar cheese, Monterey Jack cheese, tomatoes and mixed greens.

The second it is a chicken chipotle salad. The salad includes grilled chicken mixed with a fresh salad of mixed greens, Southwest corn and black bean salsa, chipotle dressing, cheddar, Monterey Jack cheese, and tomatoes, and is topped with tortilla chips.

To celebrate the launch of the new lunch items, Manhattan Bagel is giving consumers several savings opportunities through direct mail and local newspaper special offers.
