LowCountry BBQ to open Georgia flagship
March 12, 2007
ATLANTA — Full-service catering company LowCountry Barbecue Inc., is opening a fast-casual flagship restaurant in mid-April 2007.
The restaurant will feature authentic Carolina-style barbecue inspired by coastal South Carolina and Georgia lowcountry culinary traditions, such as pit-cooked hand-pulled pork barbecue, Brunswick stew, baked beans, coleslaw, fresh vegetables, and desserts.
The menu also includes Chicken Perlo, a lowcountry dish made with chicken, rice and whole hog sausage.
The 2,850-square-foot, 80-seat restaurant features a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere and décor reflecting the region's culture and scenic beauty. A mural on the wall at the entrance also depicts LowCountry Barbecue's colorful catering history.
