Lola Beans, a drive-thru beverage franchise specializing in handcrafted coffee and plant-based energy drinks, has named hospitality veteran Jessie Bray as its fractional chief operating officer.

"Jessie brings the operational discipline and leadership experience we need as we grow," Donny Bradley, founder and CEO of Lola Beans, said in a company press release. "He understands how to scale without losing the heart of a brand."

Bray previously served as president and chief revenue officer of Big Dave's Cheesesteaks. He is also the co-founder of People & Profit Movers, a consulting firm that helps hospitality brands prepare for growth. During his tenure at Big Dave's, Bray was recognized by FastCasual.com as one of the top 25 executives in the industry.

Bray joins the Tennessee-based brand at a critical juncture as Lola Beans recently entered a major partnership to develop 120 locations across Texas, moving beyond its roots in Chattanooga and Cleveland, Tennessee. Bray will oversee operational strategy, infrastructure development, and franchise readiness.

"What drew me to Lola Beans is the authenticity of the culture and the clarity of the vision," Bray said in the release. "I'm excited to help put the operational and training systems in place that support franchise partners, protect the culture and allow the brand to scale the right way."

The move was also praised by John Moates, founder of SHCC Brands and the exclusive development partner for Lola Beans. Moates and Bray have collaborated previously on several emerging franchise concepts.

Founded in 2020 by Donny and Missy Bradley, Lola Beans was inspired by the drive-thru coffee culture the couple experienced while living in Alaska. The brand utilizes a compact drive-thru model designed for high-speed service and efficiency.
