provided

April 27, 2022

Local Kitchens, a micro food hall offering several fast casual concepts under one roof, is adding three locations in the Bay Area as part of its Northern California expansion. Marking the concept's eighth, ninth and 10th locations, respectively, the Los Gatos kitchen will open at 681 Blossom Hill Road; the Campbell kitchen will be at 1640 S. Bascom Ave. within the Hamilton Shopping Center, while the Mill Valley kitchen will open at 741 E. Blithedale Ave. Each will be open by the end of summer.

"We are so excited to be joining the Campbell, Los Gatos and Mill Valley communities, and can't wait to bring exciting local brands to these areas in an accessible format," Jon Goldsmith, CEO and co-founder of Local Kitchens, said in a company press release. "We are confident that Local Kitchens will be complementary to the dining options available to these community members — both in terms of our wide variety of cuisines and convenience."

Since Local Kitchens launched in 2020, it has raised $28 million through investors; of which $25 million has come from Series A funding led by General Catalyst with support from Human Capital and Pear VC. Other investors include Fifth Wall and Penny Jar Capital, an early stage venture firm backed by Stephen Curry.

Each Local Kitchen locations feature up to 10 local concepts.
