Local entrepreneurs bring Tikiz Shaved Ice to Broward County, Florida

Tikiz Shaved Ice & Ice Cream has partnered with Broward County, Florida, entrepreneurs David Demarest and Jack DiSalvo to bring its food truck to the area.

Tikiz Shaved Ice & Ice Cream has partnered with Broward County, Florida, entrepreneurs David Demarest and Jack DiSalvo to bring its food truck to the area, according to a company press release.

Demarest has been in the rental industry for more than 30 years. Demarest and DiSalvo are also proud owners of South Florida Bounce and Slide.

"We jumped at the opportunity when we saw how well the family fun concept fit with our existent business," Demarest said. "Jack and I both have children between nine and 11, so we understand how important it is to provide children a safe and fun environment that fosters an unforgettable, one-of-a-kind experience."

The truck now services Cooper City, Dania, Davie, Ft. Lauderdale, Hallandale, Lighthouse Point, Margate, Pembroke Pines, Miramar, Plantation, Weston, Pompano Beach, Tamarac, Parkland, Deerfield Beach, Southwest Ranches, Coral Springs, Hollywood and Sunrise, Florida.
