L&L enters Boulder, Colorado

L&L Hawaiian Barbecue has opened its first Boulder, Colorado-based restaurant, marking the state's fourth location. Over 200 guests tasted Hawaiian-style barbecue and fare and experienced Halau Hula Dance by Keaka O Kalani during the Sept. 4 opening.

The chain was founded in 1976 by Eddie Flores Jr. and Johnson Kam when they purchased the original L&L Drive Inn, a small casual eatery in the Kalihi neighborhood on Oahu, and kept the name L&L. It now has 224 locations.
