Little Greek Fresh Grill opens in Florida

Little Greek Fresh Grill has opened a location in the Riverview area of Tampa Bay, Florida, a news release said.

The restaurant, which is owned and operated by Nino DeLucia, is the chain's 34th location over five states, according to Nick Vojnovic, president of Little Greek. According to the release, the brand has additional locations in Arkansas, Kentucky, Ohio and Texas.

"We’re excited to open in Riverview, a growing and booming community," Vojnovic said in the release. "We also anticipate a May opening of another Tampa Bay location in Apollo Beach."

Little Greek emphasizes fresh Greek dishes created using generations of traditional family recipes, of which chicken and traditional Gyro pita are two of the most popular. The multi-unit chain offers dine-in, take-out and catering options.

Technomic has named Little Greek Fresh Grill one of six "franchises to watch," the release said.
