La Madeleine plans 15 units in Colorado

La Madeleine has signed a multi-unit agreement to open 15 units in Colorado. According to a news release, this is the brand’s third franchise agreement in its 30-year history.

The Dallas-based restaurant company, which includes more than 65 corporate-owned bakery cafés, completed the deal with R Hakim Corp., a restaurant ownership group based in San Antonio.

“This is the perfect fit for la Madeleine and represents a significant step in our franchise development strategy,” Paul Carolan, chief development officer for parent company Le Duff America Inc., said in the release. “La Madeleine has the adaptability to entrench itself into the fabric of any community, and we are thrilled to introduce our unique concept to Colorado.”

R Hakim Corp. also owns 28 IHOPs in the San Antonio area.
