la Madeleine opens in Texas riverwalk

Flower Mound's downtown Riverwalk Market in Texas now has a la Madeleine Country French Café. The café sits at 2500 Cross Timbers Rd Suite #150 and offers guests French-inspired tastes, aromas and an inviting atmosphere, said John Cahill, chief operating officer at la Madeleine.

"Opening at Flower Mound's Riverwalk Market continues the momentum we are building in our home DFW market," said Cahill, who also guided the company's opening at Fort Worth's Overton Park Plaza in late 2013. "The new café underscores our growth and the loyalty of our la Madeleine guests. La Madeleine brand affinity is strong throughout DFW, including Flower Mound."

The Flower Mound café is la Madeleine's 23rd in Dallas-Fort Worth. The design reflects the brand's new layout and décor, which unites comfort with the French country atmosphere — the signature la Madeleine motif, Cahill said. Wood floors, hearth fireplaces and rustic beams, along with a lighter color palette all accentuate the brand's updated look and feel.

The chain has also enhanced its seating options, which now include banquette-style seating, a custom-built family table and high-top table that seats 12. Guests who'd like to enjoy the weather can take advantage of the outdoor patio. This new location also features an open display bakery where guests can watch pastry chefs work.
