la Madeleine opens in Northern Virginia

la Madeline announced today the opening of its new restaurant at the Kingstowne Shopping Center in Alexandria, Va.

"Opening our new Kingstowne café continues the momentum we are building throughout Metropolitan Washington, D.C.," said John Cahill, chief operating officer at la Madeleine, who is also guiding the company’s upcoming opening in Alexandria in July. "The new café exemplifies our growth and the loyalty of our la Madeleine guests. Northern Virginia has a strong affinity for the brand and we are happy to bring la Madeleine to Kingstowne."

The Kingstowne location is la Madeleine’s fifth in Northern Virginia, and ninth in Metropolitan Washington, D.C., according to a news release.

The restaurant's design features wood floors, hearth fireplaces, rustic beams and a light color palette. La Madeleine has also enhanced its seating options, which now include banquette seating, a custom-built family table and a high-top table that seats 12. Guests who would like to enjoy sitting outdoors can take advantage of the patio with a shaded pergola.
