La Madeleine continues roll out of summertime salades

La Madeleine Country French Café has unveiled two new seasonal summer salades that combine refreshing ingredients to beat the heat and celebrate the season. 

The new summer menu includes:

Balsamic Couscous Salade:Field greens and grape tomatoes in Balsamic vinaigrette, topped with a couscous salade made with cilantro, corn, tomatoes, green onion, red and green peppers, olives, and an herb vinaigrette.

Tomato Tartine Salade:Field greens with cherry and grape tomatoes, roasted balsamic glazed mushrooms, and bleu cheese, tossed in Bleu Cheese vinaigrette with a roasted tomato basil tartine.

“La Madeleine takes deep pride in its signature salads, both seasonal and year-round. Each of these new summer options combine the season’s freshest ingredients with innovative flavor combinations," said Susan Dederen, director of Culinary Operations for la Madeleine. “Our Couscous Salade, with its fresh field greens and medley of vegetables is a refreshing way to dine on a hot summer afternoon.”

In addition to these new options, la Madeleine is featuring two summer favorites:

Shrimp Dijonnaise:Chilled, roasted shrimp in a creamy Dijonnaise with fresh dill, red peppers, mushrooms, and celery, served on fresh spinach with Balsamic vinaigrette and a pesto cheese straw.

Chicken Salade Croissant:Delicious chicken salade served on a flaky, fresh-baked croissant, served with your choice of tomato basil pesto pasta salade or salt and pepper chips.
