Kraft Heinz hires Steve Cahillane as CEO

Kraft Heinz has chosen Steve Cahillane, former Kellanoa chief, as CEO come Jan. 1, 2026.

The hiring move comes as Kraft Heinz moves to split into two separate publicly traded companies in the second half of 2026, according to a CNBC report.

Once the company split takes place Cahillane will lead the division where the company's top growing brands sit.

"These are phenomenal brands that need to be contemporized, shown a little bit of love and brought back to growth," Cahillane told CNBC's "Squawk on the Street.".

Cahillane is familiar with corporate split as he lead Kellogg through a similar situation two years ago.
