Gosh Enterprises, best known for its Charleys Philly Steaks brand, are unveiling a new fast casual concept — BiBiBop — this week in Ohio, according to the Dispatch.com.
The restaurant at 1270 W. Fifth Ave. near the Columbus, Ohio, neighborhood of Grandview Heights, is named after the Korean rice dish bibimbap and will feature rice and salad bowls and wraps with customers' choices of meats, vegetables and sauces, said Joe Holbrook, concept lead for the emerging brand.
"We wanted to step out a little bit, go to a healthier type of concept," Holbrook said in the story. "The key for us is healthy. It's well-being food."
Bowl and wrap prices depend on the protein customers select. Chicken is $6.10, steak is $6.50, spicy chicken is $6.10, organic tofu is $5.50, and kids' bowls are $3.95. BiBiBop also serves many vegetarian and gluten-free options, such as tofu.
Although BiBiBop and Charleys are both under the Gosh Enterprises umbrella, BiBiBop is separate from Charleys, founded in the '80s by Charley Shin. Shin also is founder of BiBiBop.
