Kneaders Bakery and Café is celebrating its "Sweet 16 Birthday" today with the opening of its new location in Orem, Utah. Kneaders has been in Orem since opening its first location at 1990 N. State St. in 1997, according to a company press release . As part of this celebration, the first 100 customers will receive free French toast as part of the Sweet 16 festivities.
"Over the years we've outgrown our store and knew it was time to build a larger site," CEO James Worthington said in the release. "We are thrilled to open our flagship store just one door down from the original location."
The brand currently has 25 total locations with stores in Meridian, Idaho; Yuma, Ariz.; Gilbert, Ariz.; and a new location in Colorado Springs, Colo.
"We've had tremendous growth over the past couple years, and plan to continue our expansion through the rest of this year and into 2014," Worthington said. "Our growth would not have been possible without the success of the initial Orem location and our amazing employees that we work with everyday."
