Kneaders flagship unit outgrows location

Construction for a new Kneaders Bakery & Cafe is underway following a groundbreaking on July 31. Serving as a fast casual restaurant and retail shop, this new location will be built next to the restaurant's founding location in Orem and will offer additional space for classes and special events, said CEO James Worthington.

"While we love our original restaurant, we outgrew the space quickly and knew it was time to build a larger site," said CEO James Worthington. "We are thrilled to see construction begin and look forward to opening our doors later this year."

This new location is just one of several Kneaders restaurants to open within the year. The company also plans to build new bakery and cafe locations in Las Vegas, San Antonio, Colorado Springs, Colo., West Valley, Utah, and Awatukee and San Tan Village, Arizona.

"We've had tremendous growth over the past couple years, and plan to continue our expansion through the rest of this year and into 2014," Worthington said.
