Kettle intros single-serving potato chips

SALEM, Ore. — Kettle Foods, makers of all-natural Kettle brand Potato Chips, has introduced new 1 oz. bags for restaurant and foodservice venues.

The 1 oz. bag is available this month in Lightly Salted, Sea Salt & Vinegar and New York Cheddar with Herbs flavors, for the wholesale in cases price of 48 for $14.00.

"Following the 100-calorie pack boom, consumers are moving away from the grab-bag mentality in favor of single-serving snack options," said Michelle Peterman, vice president of marketing for Kettle Foods. "The new 1 oz. bags are perfect for on-the-go snacking or as an accompaniment to an entrée."

Currently Kettle brand Potato Chips are available to restaurants and foodservice distributors in 2 oz., 16 oz. and 20 oz. bags.
