Keep Austin Winged: Wingstop testing delivery in Austin

December 20, 2017

Wingstop Restaurants, which has more than 1,000 locations worldwide, is expanding delivery to Austin, Texas. Following the success of delivery tests in Las Vegas and Chicago, the chain is building on its partnership with DoorDash to test the service in 12 Austin units, according to the release.

"We've already experienced positive traction in Las Vegas and more recently in Chicago, and are very excited to be making our menu even more accessible to Wingstop fans in Austin through this delivery test,” Stacy Peterson, chief experience officer of Wingstop, said in the release. "We continue to see a growing expectation for convenience from today's consumer and have been very pleased with how our guests have responded to our delivery offering thus far. We are thrilled to expand our partnership with DoorDash again to deliver our wings across the city of Austin."

Since first testing delivery in April of this year, Las Vegas locations have sustained a 10 percent increase in sales, according to the release.
