The chicken wars rage on as Chick N Max debuts four chicken sandwiches featuring smoked almond wood chicken and fried chicken tenders at its three Kansas locations, a news release said.
Offerings include a hot honey sandwich with sriracha hot honey, as well as a Nashvile Hot, Smoked chicken and Screamin' Jalapeno Mimi sandwich.
"We've brought on noted Chef Robert Kabakoff to help us create gourmet flavor profiles that will help differentiate us in the industry," Chick N Max Founder Max Sheets said in the release. "We've also replaced the typical fried chicken breast that most fast-casual restaurants use for their chicken sandwiches with two ultra-crispy tenders. By using tenders, we can give the guest more chicken per sandwich and more crunch for their money."
The brand also has hired Robert Kabakoff, owner of RHK Consulting Group, to create menu items. He is the former executive chef and culinary training director for Hillstone Restaurant Group and owns restaurants in Oregon, Illinois, Alabama, Iowa and Washington D.C.
