SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — Quick-serve restaurant franchiser and developer, Kahala Corp., and Cold Stone Creamery have announced a newly named joint company that will serve as the purveyor of entrepreneurial opportunities for business owners and franchisees.
Specific terms of the transaction were not disclosed, but the combined entity, Kahala·Cold Stone,will be a holding company for 13 brands that generate more than $1.1 billion in system-wide sales.
Kahala·Cold Stone will be headquartered in Scottsdale, Ariz., and will include the following brands: BLIMPIE, Cold Stone Creamery, Frullati Café and Bakery, The Great Steak & Potato Company, Johnnie's NY Pizzeria, NRgize Lifestyle Cafe, Ranch 1, Rollerz, Samurai Sam's Teriyaki Grill, Surf City Squeeze, Taco Time, V's Barbershop and Wafflô.
