Just Salad, a fast casual concept, has partnered with Zero Foodprint, a nonprofit organization founded by restaurateur and author Anthony Myint, to support regenerative farming in the Northeastern U.S. The fast casual will donate 15% of of its sales from its Zero Footprint Salad to support this effort, according to a press release.

The Zero Foodprint Salad contains Violife vegan feta cheese alternative, mint, wheat berries, pita chips, pickled red onions and grape tomatoes on arugula, red cabbage and romaine lettuce with a yogurt cucumber dressing sourced from Stonyfield Organic, a leader in the regenerative farming space, according to the release.

"After learning about the regenerative farming projects that Zero Foodprint has already funded, we knew we wanted to support ZFP's expansion," Sandra Noonan, chief sustainability officer at Just Salad, said in the release. "So we created the Zero Foodprint Salad to generate funds for ZFP's grant program. But this is only a first step -- we seek to source more ingredients from regenerative farms as these practices scale up."

Just Salad was founded in 2006 in New York City and currently has 47 locations in New York, New Jersey, Florida, Illinois, Pennsylvania, North Carolina and Dubai.
