Just Salad launches Just Grocery delivery service, meal service

Customers can order groceries with their salads at Just Salad in New York City. It's selling fruit, vegetables, bathroom tissue, sparkling water and paper towels as well as its tea, house-made dressings and meal kits for some of its popular menu items.

All the food items are delivered in tamper-proof packaging to ensure the safety of customers, according to a press release.

The news comes on the heels of the commitment Just Salad made last week to provide 10,000 meals a week to New York City hospital workers at Mt. Sinai.

"We'e launching Just Grocery to provide nutritious food options and essential household items quickly and safely," said Nick Kenner, founder and CEO of Just Salad, in the release. "Our brand mission has always been focused on serving healthy, delicious food at an affordable price, and with Just Grocery we're able to do that for our loyal customers in these difficult times."

The meal kits include Just Salad favorites like the Thai chicken crunch salad, sweet valley salad and avocado mash. All kits come complete with fresh ingredients and an easy-to-follow recipe card available on the Just Grocery website.

Just Grocery deliveries are available in Manhattan, south of 96th Street, with a minimum order requirement of $50 and a $4.99 delivery fee.

The brand was founded in 2006 in New York City and has nearly 50 locations in New York, New Jersey, Florida, Illinois, Pennsylvania, North Carolina and Dubai.
