Juice It Up!, a raw juice bar chain and smoothie franchise, will present expansion opportunities at this year's International Franchise Expo June 20-22 in NYC. The success, attributed to the company's lead position within the raw juice movement, will be of great interest to attendees looking to expand their franchise portfolio, both nationally and internationally, said Marcus Skinner, business development manager for Balboa Brands, management company for the Juice It Up! brand.

The company, with headquarters in Irvine, Calif., recently revamped its brand and product offering to reach the trending and continuously growing raw juice market. While maintaining its smoothies, Juice It Up! is now offering customers seven functional raw juice blends made and delivered directly in front of the customer using micro-nutrient rich fruits and vegetables like kale, spinach, celery, cucumber, carrots and ginger. The initiative has seen year-over-year sales growth at 13 percent, positioning the company to focus on both national and international expansion, said Frank Easterbrook, CEO of Balboa Brands, who also pointed out that the global market for juice and smoothie should reach $10.7 billion by 2015.
