Juice It Up! opens in Texas, introduces smoothie bowl

Juice It Up!, raw juice bar and smoothie chain, opened its first Rockwall, Texas, location.

Juice It Up!, raw juice bar and smoothie chain, opened its first Rockwall, Texas, location, the company announced. The location is operated by Texas-based EJBT LLC, led by Tracey Taylor, who has plans to open two additional franchise locations in the Dallas/Fort Worth metro area. 

''As an active individual committed to a healthy lifestyle, I'm proud to introduce Juice It Up! to the Rockwall community as I'm passionate about helping people better their quality of life,'' Taylor said in a statement. ''I know firsthand how messy and labor-intensive juicing from home can be and, being there aren't any fresh juicing choices in the area, I'm confident guests will fall in love with Juice It Up! like I did.''  

Juice It Up! also introduced its new Smoothie Bowl option. Customers can make Classic and Veggie Smoothies in a bowl topped with fresh bananas, granola and a drizzle of honey.

"As customers continue to seek an alternative to fast food we wanted to create a product which would transform a customers' favorite Strawberry Wave, Mango Mania or Ever Green Smoothie into a more satisfying meal as opposed to just a refreshing drink," said Carol DeNembo, Juice It Up!'s vice president of marketing.
