Johnny Rockets opens second restaurant in Rio Grande Valley, Texas

Johnny Rockets announced the opening of its newest restaurant, a free-standing 2,500-square-foot unit located at 3340 Pablo Kisel Boulevard in the Morrison Plaza in Brownsville, Texas.

The new Brownsville restaurant is the second Johnny Rockets to open along the lower Rio Grande Valley. The first to open is located in McAllen, Texas. Johnny Rockets has also announced signing a multi-unit franchising deal in San Antonio.

"We feel Texas has been underserved by our brand for far too long," CEO John Fuller said in a company press release. "In just its first month of operation, the excitement generated for this newest site tells us that there are many more opportunities to open successful restaurants in The Lone Star State. In fact, as we seek franchisees in San Antonio, Houston, Austin and Dallas, these first two restaurants are both showing us that the personality of our brand and our unique Guest Promise are right in line with what fun-loving Texans want in a uniquely American dining experience."
