Johnny Rockets launches BYOB option

April 10, 2014

Johnny Rockets is releasing a Build-Your-Own-Burger ordering option, according to accompany press release. With a price point starting at $5.49, guests will be given a B.Y.O.B. menu insert, designed by Orlando-based branding services agency, Push, in which they can choose from a broad range of hamburger toppings. The choice starts with one of four protein options, including chicken breast, turkey, 100-percent soy Boca burger or Johnny Rockets one-third pound hamburger made with fresh, all-natural beef.

Topping options include: Lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles, jalapenos, relish and variety of cheeses and newly introduced sauces. Add-ons include all-meat chili, fried eggs, smoked bacon, grilled peppers, mushrooms and onion rings.

“With the new B.Y.O.B. concept, we are giving our guests the opportunity to personalize their burgers to their liking by offering a variety of flavor and toppings options,” said Art Tinajero, senior director of Field Marketing. “This menu reflects the brand’s desire to adapt to the growing industry trend toward customization in today’s highly competitive marketplace.”

Dovetailing with the B.Y.O.B. launch, Johnny Rockets will also debut a new artisan burger bun as well as a variety of new sauce options including a zesty chipotle ketchup.

The launch, which starts April 14, will be supported by an extensive outdoor billboard and cinema advertising campaign created by Push, an ideal media fit with approximately 45 percent of Johnny Rockets locations situated in or near malls that include movie theaters, Tinajero said.
