JJ's Red Hots is inviting guests to build their own unique hot dog during its 2nd annual "12 Days of Hot Dogs" holiday promotion.
Winners will be judged based on online and in-restaurant submissions from a provided list of toppings through Dec. 5.
JJ's will then pick 12 finalists, judged on dog toppings and dog name creativity, and feature each for a day during 12 Days of Hot Dogs, beginning Dec. 11. Each finalist will be invited to visit JJ's to build and taste their hot dog. One winner, based on the most hot dogs sold for that day, will be chosen and will receive a $150 Amazon gift card.
"Who needs a partridge in a pear tree when you can create your own Hot Dog?" asked JJ's founder Jonathan Luther in a company press release. "Unless of course, you want to use partridge and pears on your own hot dog. That's between you, the hot dog gods and the judges. This is really about fun, bragging rights and potentially finding the next great Hot Dog, which is really what JJ's is all about."
