At Jinya Ramen Bar, the focus on "kaizen" — the Japanese practice of continuous improvement — runs deep in the company's culture and guides its customer experience strategy. As proof of that dedication, the ramen brand has partnered with Paytronix to overhaul its loyalty app and reward program, said Jinya CEO Tomo Takahashi.

"Everything we do at Jinya is focused on delivering an exceptional customer experience, from ingredient selection and food preparation to attentive, personalized service," Takahashi said in a company release. "Our new and improved loyalty program is just one more way we get to show our guests how much they mean to us and create memorable experiences that keep them coming back."

Jinya's loyalty program offers members a variety of perks, including rewards, easy points accrual and discounts, including:

  • Registration Reward: New members will receive 50 points when they register, and existing members will automatically have 50 points at program launch.
  • Birthday Reward: Members get their choice of a free panna cotta or mochi ice cream dessert to celebrate their birthdays.
  • Anniversary Reward: On the anniversary of joining Jinya's loyalty program, guests will get a free small plate with purchase of any ramen bowl.
  • We Miss You Reward: Jinya will welcome members back with 50% off any bowl of ramen.
  • Dollar-to-Point Conversion: Guests will receive 1 point for every dollar spent at Jinya.
  • Points Redemption: For every 100-point milestone, members receive a free menu item.
  • 100 points: Choice of pork or vegan gyoza, crispy rice with spicy tuna or Brussels sprouts tempura.
  • 200 points: Signature tapas plate, including the three-piece gyoza, two-piece crispy chicken and taco.
  • 300 points: Bowl of ramen or rice bowl of choice.
  • Bankable Rewards: Members may roll points over to receive $5 off their next visit.
  • Points Conversion: Guests will receive an automatic reward once they reach the 300-point max threshold.

Founded in 2010 by Tomo Takahashi, Jinya Ramen Bar has nearly 60 restaurants with multiple locations in the pipeline.
