Jimmy John's settles lawsuit over left out sprouts

Customers slighted by sprout omission offered voucher.

September 12, 2014

Jimmy John's is settling a class-action lawsuit filed by a woman who accused the chain of fraud and false advertising when her sub showed up without alfalfa sprouts as advertised, according to a story by RayCom News.

Jimmy John's denied any wrongdoing and rejected the claims filed by Heather Starks.

However, the chain is settling the suit. They will issue vouchers for the total price of any side item to anyone who claims to have ordered a sandwich that was supposed to have sprouts but did not.

To claim the voucher, customers must have purchased a sprout-deficient sandwich between Feb. 1 and July 21 and must make their request via a form on Jimmy John's website.
