Jersey's Bubbakoo's Burritos headed out west to California

Bubbakoo's Burritos, a Jersey Shore-based fast casual concept, is entering California with a five-unit deal with a Marie Callendar franchisee, Michael Brannon.

The first will open at 2053 W. Ave. J in Lancaster, and Brannon is considering several options in his westward expansion toward the Los Angeles metro area, according to a company press release.

"We couldn't have found a better partner to bring Bubbakoo's to California," co-CEO and founder Bill Hart said in the release. "Michael operates his other brand with such high standards we knew he was the perfect fit for us.”

Founded in 2008, Bubbakoo's began franchising in 2016.
