Jersey Mike's opens at Navy base

Jersey Mike's Sub has opened a location aboard Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creed-Fort Story naval base in Norfolk, Virginia.

It is the third location that franchise owners Martin Anderson and Clark Stallings, in partnership with Tristan Lee, have opened together. Anderson and Stallings operate 12 Jersey Mike's in the Hampton Road area and are getting ready to open two more this spring, according to a press release.

"We are pleased to bring our authentic sub sandwiches to the troops and their families stationed here at Little Creek-Fort Story," said Phil Capozzi, vice president, non-traditional development, Jersey Mike's Franchise Systems, in the release. "Jersey Mike's is now available to three branches of the U.S. military: Army, Navy and Marines."
