Jersey Mike’s names former Wyndham exec as CFO

Jersey Mike's Subs named Michele Allen as its chief financial officer on Tuesday, tapping the former hotel executive to oversee the chain's financial strategy during its push for global expansion.

Allen, whose appointment was effective Dec. 1, previously served as CFO and head of strategy at Wyndham Hotels & Resorts. She brings more than 25 years of experience in franchising and hospitality finance.

She succeeds Walter Tombs, who is retiring in January 2026 after 26 years with the company. Tombs will remain as an advisor through the coming year to assist with the transition.

CEO Charlie Morrison said Allen's background in franchise models will be vital as the company scales operations in the U.S. and international markets. The appointment follows a series of recent leadership changes, including the hiring of a new president and chief operating officer, in the wake of the company's acquisition by Blackstone.
