Founder Jeff Perera attributed the momentum to a mix of traditional baking methods and modern franchise operations.

"We've grown by staying focused on the fundamentals — baking everything from scratch, investing in great operators and becoming part of each community we join," Perera said in a company press release.

The company distinguishes itself in the fast casual space by boiling and baking its bagels in-house throughout the day. The menu also features house-whipped spreads and specialty coffee from Otus Coffee, a small-batch roaster the company acquired in 2024 to verticalize its supply chain.

The expansion wave signals a pivot toward high-growth suburban markets in the Southeast and Mountain West. While the brand operates in states including Georgia, Illinois, Nevada and Texas, Perera said that more than 100 additional locations are currently in development nationwide.

"Our goal isn't just to open more shops," Perera said. "It's to open the right shops, with the right partners, in communities where fresh baking and genuine hospitality still matter."

Jeff's Bagel Run gained national attention in 2023 when it was named one of "America's Best Bagels" at NYC Bagelfest. With several more openings planned for the remainder of 2026, the company expects to maintain its current pace toward becoming a national fixture in the breakfast segment.
