Jeff's Bagel Run, founded in 2021 in Florida, has launched a franchise program. The three-unit chain is gearing up to add five locations, said former uBreakiFix co-founder Justin Wetherill, who has taken the helm as president.

"When we started uBreakiFix, we wanted to solve a problem," he said in a company press release. "There was no easy way to fix a broken phone. The amazing team at UBIF and I grew uBreakiFix to over 500 locations before selling the company in 2019. I'm excited to use that experience to help grow Jeff's Bagel Run so that people across the country can understand just how delicious a bagel is when it is made truly fresh, hot, and just out of the oven."

Eric Kirby and Ryann Frost, who also helped grow uBreakiFix, are joining Jeff's Bagel Run as well. Kirby will lead franchising efforts, and Frost will assist incoming franchisees with real estate decisions and construction.

"Most bagel shops around the country freeze their dough and send it to their stores," co-founder Jeff Perera said in the release. "They then bake them early in the morning in ovens that inject steam in an attempt to simulate the NY boiled bagel experience. We mix the dough fresh in each of our stores every single day. Fresh bagels means they were boiled and baked this hour."

To enhance the customer experience, the company's technology team created and launched the Jeff's Bagel Run mobile app as well as a POS and kitchen display system dubbed "Au-Dough-mation" specifically for the needs of Jeff's Bagel Run.

"We have been aggressively working behind the scenes to build the most sophisticated three-store bagel chain the world has ever seen," Wetherill said. "The experience customers have in each of our stores is something that no other bagel bakery offers. We don't take the challenge of delivering on that — consistently while scaling rapidly — lightly."
