Supertoro, a Japanese fast casual concept, has opened its third location, according to parent company K2 Restaurants. Located at Echo Park in Los Angeles, the build-your-own-bento box chain is now part of the renovated buildings, Brick Works, at 1485 Sunset Blvd.
Offering hand rolls, cut rolls, crispy rice, greens and starters, Supertoro also has a location in Hollywood and one inside SocialEats, a food hall in Santa Monica, according to a company press release.
"We feel the build your own bento box format will resonate with families and residents of Echo Park by offering an approachable way to enjoy a high quality Japanese meal instore or togo, while providing a straightforward, minimalistic, and efficient experience," John Kolaski, founder, CEO and curator of K2 Restaurants, said in the release.
