Jamba Juice announced that it raised more than $200,000 during its four-week campaign for the American Heart Association. Funds were raised through the Whirl’d Hearts campaign, including the contribution of $1 for each sale of Jamba oatmeal and sales of value-added coupon packs, which provided consumers with over $10 in coupons in return for a $1 donation.
Also, a portion of the funds were raised during Jamba’s second annual silent auction.
“I am pleased once again with the way our organization sprang to action to support the important work that the American Heart Association is doing,” CEO James D. White said in a news release. “The work that the AHA does will provide care and support for children in need, both today and in the future, especially for those who do not have access to nutritious food and safe community parks and centers in which to play.”
