Jamba Juice adds to executive management team

Jamba Inc. has announced the appointment of two executives to help lead the company's ongoing transformation strategy. Appointed to the new position of president of stores is Bruce Schroder, who was formerly chief operating officer of the beverage company Adina for Life.
Additionally, Richard Coats joins Jamba Juice as VP of Franchise Operations. Coats brings more than 25 years experience in multiunit restaurants and franchise operations, most recently at Burger King.
"Among Jamba's key priorities as we evolve from a made-to-order smoothie company to an active, healthy lifestyle company are stores that provide the highest level of customer service in an environment that enhances the customer experience and the growth and strengthening of franchisees who will extend Jamba into new geography, sites and formats," Jamba Juice president and CEO James D. White said in a news release. "Attracting top talent for these positions helps assure our success."
Schroder has more than 15 years experience in restaurants, consumer products and operations. In addition to his role at Adina for Life, he has held senior positions at Peet's Coffee & Tea and at PepsiCo where he led the Pepsi-Starbucks joint venture, launched Taco Bell Express, and led the SoBe integration.
Coats was previously divisional vice president for Burger King's Midwestern region. Prior to Burger King, he was a division vice president for Wendy's International and also held leadership positions with Boston Chicken, Pizza Hut and Church's Chicken.
