Patrons at two Georgia college campuses can now serve themselves Jamba smoothies thanks to Jamba Blendid self-serve kiosks, according to a press release.
The installations at Georgia College in Milledgeville, Georgia and Kennesaw State University in Marietta, Georgia mark the first Jamba by Blendid openings on college campuses, expanding beyond the current pilot locations in a shopping mall and big box retailer.
"It has been rewarding to see guests engage enthusiastically with our kiosks, and we are looking forward to speaking with future operators who are interested in testing with us and learning more about the opportunity," Geoff Henry, president of Jamba, said in the press release.
Jamba by Blendid leverages machine learning, robotics and artificial intelligence.
Guests may order seven smoothies, as well as Jamba's Boosts in 14-ounce servings and include one nutrition boost for no additional charge. When ordering, guests can access to the macronutrient breakdown based on their order customizations. Guests can place orders in person at the kiosk or they can order ahead with the Blendid app on Android or iOS. Additionally, they can make a payment using their respective college's dining cards.
