Jack in the Box's largest franchisee buys Taco Cabana

Fiesta Restaurant Group Inc. has sold its remaining shares of Taco Cabana to YTC Enterprises LLC, an affiliate of Yadav Enterprises Inc., for $85 million, according to a company press release.

Fiesta, which owns Pollo Tropical, used the funds to pay off about $74.6 million in debt as well as to pay certain divestiture transaction fees and a $4.2 prepayment loan. Fiesta will also use a portion of the money to help accelerate Pollo Tropical's growth.

Yadav Enterprises, which is the largest Jack in the Box and TGI Friday's franchisee, also owns several Denny's locations.
