Utah-based J. Dawgs, a scratch-made hot dog concept created by Jayson Edwards in 2004, is opening its first out-of-state outpost in Denver's Grange Hall.
Edwards thought it was time to expand J. Dawgs, which now has four locations in Salt Lake City and a nationwide shipping program, so he has teamed up with Grange Hall partner Kevin Hawkins and Chef Troy Guard, who owns TAG Restaurant Group.
"After visiting the space and meeting with the team, I realized that Grange Hall is the perfect way to test out a new market; it's the right-sized space, and the built-in support from the team has been great," Edwards said in a company press release. Denver and Salt Lake City have a lot of similarities, including the altitude, and the community around Grange Hall seems like a good fit. Plus, who doesn't like hot dogs!"
Other concepts at Grange Hall, owned by TAG Restaurant Group, include Bubu, The Crack Shack, Crazy Love Pizza, Eiskaffee and Rado Burgers.
