Island Poké has opened its doors in Angel Islington, England, bringing its fresh Pacific flavors and customizable bowls to the London borough, according to a company press release.

The restaurant opened on Sept. 29 at 13 Upper Street, making it the 14th London location for the franchise in the U.K.

To celebrate, Island Poké is offering £1 bowls to all customers on Oct. 6.

The brand plans to open another location in Richmond this month, along with two locations in Clapham and Notting Hill set to open in early 2022.

Island Poké has opened four dark kitchens across London and is getting set to open 23 Islands over the next five years. The agreements follow a recent investment from Hero Brands and will create about 350 jobs in the region.

The Angel Islington location features an updated design, including digital menu boards with lapping beach waves and sustainable, Oceanic fabric seating.

Oceanic is part of the Seaqual Initiative, designed to combat marine plastic pollution and achieve a waste free environment.

"We're very pleased to be opening another Island in Angel Islington," James Gould-Porter, Island Poké founder, said in the release. "We are just beginning to ease out the pandemic which has been a hugely challenging period for the hospitality sector and these new restaurants show the growing demand for our brand offering. We are looking forward to expanding our brand across London and beyond, bringing people a great and fresh alternative to the traditional lunch and dine-out offering."
