Island Fin Poke opens 1st location with pick-up window

Florida-based Island Fin Poké Co. is hoping to elevate its customer experience with the opening of its first location featuring a pick-up window. Marking its 25th location, the store opened Monday in Venice at 997 N. Tamiami Trail in Nokomis.

"Our new location in Venice will still have the same comforting vibe, like you are eating a meal at home with your Ohana, as all our other locations," Mark Setterington, CEO and founder of Island Fin Poké Co., said in a company press release. "However, with our first-ever poké pickup window location, we are going to be able to streamline our efficiency as a brand. We're continuing to push the boundaries of what's possible in the fast-casual environment.

"We want to ensure our Ohana (family) can enjoy their favorite bowls with the same quality and speed they expect from us in-store and now in our pickup window," he said. "It's the perfect grab-and-go for our new community if they are not able to dine in with us."
