Florida-based Island Fin Poke is opening a location this month in the Carrollwood community of Tampa under the direction of husband-and-wife duo Lincoln and Kara Pereira, who will eventually open two other units in the area.
Home to outdoor beach-themed seating and third-party delivery, the Carrollwood location will also feature local art, beer and wine options and discounts for veterans and first responders, said Co-owner Lincoln Pereira, a vice president in the investment banking industry.
"We are proud to bring Island Fin Poké's healthy and wholesome creations to Carrollwood," he said in the release. "Island Fin Poke is a fantastic concept, and as one of the only poke-style restaurants in the area, we know it makes a great addition and cannot wait to welcome local guests."
Former FBI professional Kara Pereira agreed, saying that the couple's main priority was the guest experience.
"We aim to make our new restaurant a local favorite and enhance the already amazing reputation of the brand as we continue to expand throughout the area," she said in the release.
Founded in 2017 and franchising since 2018, Island Fin Poke has more than 10 location with numerous others in various stages of development.
