B.Good, a farm-to-table fast casual chain with 69 North American locations, is now available to even more people in Chicago.
Although the chain already had three Chicago-area locations — Vernon Hills, Schaumburg and Naperville — it recently opened a "ghost kitchen" within a Kitchen United facility, at 825 N. Sedgwick St., in Chicago's River North neighborhood, according to a company press release. Kitchen United, which launched in 2017, in Pasadena, provides kitchen space for restaurants needing to fulfill off-premises orders. These virtual kitchens are often referred to as ghost kitchens.
"We've seen great feedback and success from our three recent openings in Chicagoland, which has further validated that the market is interested in locally grown, healthy fast-casual options," B.Good CEO Chris Fuqua said in the release. "That said, while Chicagoans are interested in the type of food we offer, a growing number of people, especially those based in urban areas like Downtown, are interested in getting it delivered fresh to their home or office."
Consumers can order pick-up or delivery through the newly launched B.Good app, Kitchen United website or third-party delivery partners, including DoorDash, Grubhub, UberEats and Postmates.
"We want to meet our consumers where they are and best support their needs, and Kitchen United is helping us do just that," Fuqua said in the release. "We're now able to bring 'Food with Roots' to people in a way that complements, not complicates, their lifestyle — whether they want dinner delivered at home for their family or catering for a team lunch on-the-go in between meetings.”
