Inaugural Tortilla Ranch fast casual restaurant opens with digital menu boards

Next Digital Signage Solutions, a division of Cinema Scene Marketing, recently announced the completion of its first digital menu board installation with Tortilla Ranch Mexican Grill, which is scheduled to open today in Overland Park, Kansas.

"NextDSS has a proven solution that made our decision easy to incorporate digital menu boards," Jen Coniglio from Tortilla Ranch said in the announcement. "With the use of digital menu boards we will be able to easily update our menu options and change our promotional items as often as needed."

NextDSS digital menu boards allow message content to be dynamic by integrating static or full-motion video. NextDSS said it offers proprietary software with features designed for fast casual establishments such as Tortilla Ranch, including dayparting to allow different content during breakfast hours versus evening hours and dynamic text that allows for changing prices, items, ingredient listings or specials in just minutes versus the printed menu alternative. Merchandising videos and interruptive marketing (one visual across all screens) allow for the display of promotional messaging and food imagery to drive purchases and up-sell, the announcement said.
