Ike’s Love & Sandwiches opens in Long Beach

Ike's Love & Sandwiches, a San Francisco-based brand, has opened inside The Hangar food hall at the Long Beach Exchange at 4150 McGowen St., in Long Beach, California.

"You and me at the LBX in the LBC! I love summertime in the LBC so much I named a sandwich after it and made a Strong Beach Sauce to go on it," Founder Ike Shehadeh said in a company press release. "Long Beach has always shown me love and I'm giving it all right back to you with delicious sandwiches and a great party."

Shehadeh created two exclusive sandwiches for the restaurant — Summertime in the LBC — made with chicken, Ike's Strong Beach Sauce, beer-battered onion rings and cream cheese and the Bixby's Delight, a vegetarian version of the Summetime.

Ike's has nearly 100 locations in California, Nevada, Arizona, Texas and Colorado.
