Ike's Love & Sandwiches hires CEO, CMO

California-based Ike's Love & Sandwiches has restructured its executive team, hiring Michael Goldberg has CEO, who will work alongside f ounder and President Ike Shehadeh.

"As we look to fuel our positive sales and rapid growth, we are now well positioned with experienced executives to drive the business forward," Goldberg said in a company press release.

He joins Ike's from an 8-year tenure at fast casual pizza restaurant, Fresh Brothers Pizza, where he was COO. Goldberg was also the CEO of Yalla Mediterranean.

Renae Scott is also new to the team and will serve as CMO. She previously held that title at Togo's Sandwiches, a 250-unit West Coast franchise chain, and has also been the VP of media and field marketing at Carl's Jr. Most recently, 

Ike's expects to have 80 restaurants by the end of 2019, and is on track to reach 100 locations by 2020, according to the release.
