I Heart Mac N Cheese opening drive-thru location

South Florida-based I Heart Mac & Cheese is opening its first drive-up pickup window location next week in Gulfport, Mississippi. Dubbed, "FastMac," the store will allow guests to order via the restaurant's app and grab orders at the window without leaving their cars.

"During covid, we saw an increase of orders via our app," CEO Steve Giordanella said in a company press release. "This past January we redesigned our app to make the digital ordering process smoother for our customers. We learned during the pandemic that our customers are leaning more into the digital way of ordering. The redesigned app allows our customers to have a more seamless ordering process. We also added more payment options like Apple Pay."

I Heart Mac & Cheese, which has 22 locations, will add 75 restaurants in 2022.

"We are always looking for ways to grow our brand presence; the new drive-through windows will optimize our digital order platform as well as make it easier for and faster for our customers," Giordanella said.
