Husband-and-wife team opening 5th Zoup

Zoup has stirred up quite a following in Pennsylvania with 11 units, and Malvern residents will have their own location when Paul and Julie Diaz open one this fall in Uptown Worthington, according to a company press release. 

"This location is special for us because it's also a homecoming,” said Paul Diaz, who owns four Zoup units throughout the state with his wife, Julie. “We opened our first Zoup 10 years ago in Frazer and it feels great to be back in this area. We can't wait to begin serving our convenient, fresh and delicious food in a premier retail center like Uptown Worthington."

Diaz spent 20 years in management at two large waste and recycling companies before he discovered Zoup in 2007,  during a visit to Michigan. He and Julie became franchise owners and now have more Zoup restaurants than any other franchise owner.
