Husband-and-wife opening Texas I Heart Mac & Cheese

South Florida's I Heart Mac & Cheese will be in Cypress, Texas, by spring of 2021 thanks to an agreement with franchisees Anthony McBride and his wife, Victoria. With locations already open in Port Charlotte and College Station, and several other franchise locations already contracted and in full development, I Heart Mac & Cheese is making a name for itself in the Lone Star State, Stephen Giordanella, I Heart Mac & Cheese CEO and chairman, said in a company press release.

"I Heart Mac & Cheese is a fun, attractive concept and an affordable franchise model that is easy to operate, with support systems in place to help our partners be successful," he said in the press release. "We are thrilled to continue growing our brand with partners that share our same beliefs and value our innovative concept, food quality and diverse menu."

After exploring a number of franchisee opportunities, McBride, who has a background in manufacturing-operations management and global safety operations, said he chose I Heart Mac & Cheese because of its simple operations and the combo of tasty and healthy menu options.

"I knew this was something worth investing in," he said in the release. "I had been contemplating other franchises for over a year, but this one was my final choice."

I Heart Mac & Cheese is developing a national footprint with additional locations planned in Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, New Jersey, North Carolina, New Mexico and New York.
